A very important book for everybody who thinks about DSP.
The good and cool thing about this book is, that it is written for Engineers and not for mathematicians.
It also makes clear who uses what king of notation (Physicists, Mathematicians, ….). Most of the Algorithms that we use nowadays are explained here.
