I just watched the “Graphics and Media State of the Union” Session from Apple’s WWDC 2006. They will finally introduce a public API for custom QC Patches with the release of Mac OS Leopard.

A very important book for everybody who thinks about DSP.
The good and cool thing about this book is, that it is written for Engineers and not for mathematicians.
It also makes clear who uses what king of notation (Physicists, Mathematicians, ….). Most of the Algorithms that we use nowadays are explained here.

weiss nicht wie ich für ein eingetragenes Event automatisch Einlaldungen verschicke, deshalb versuch ich es nochmal auf diesem Weg:

ich bin am kommenden Donnerstag bis Freitag in Osna. Wie wärs wenn wir das Treffen am Freitag 15 Uhr statt Mittwoch machen? Am Donnerstag hab ich leider keine Zeit. Können ja dann schon mal ein paar Weihnachtslieder singen und visualisieren.

Wie moegt ihr das neue Aussehen? Mir gefaellt es ganz gut.
Allerdings bin ich mit dem Kontrast noch nicht so ganz zufrieden. Das werd ich noch ein bischen anpassen.
Wie findet ihr das Logo?

Computes the Envelope of the 4 input channel’s signal. The results of the computation are then sent via OSC to 2 receivers.

This patch was used on the Boogaloop concert to get the signals von individual instruments.

This patch has 4 channels of audio input. Each channels can be sent through a filter or an envelope can be computed.

This is a router which routes 8 input audio channels to 4 output channels.
A testpatch is also provided.

Anbei ein pd patch, mit dem die Pegel von bis zu 8 Eingängen einer Audiokarte in MIDI controller Daten übersetzt werden können. Sie können dann an beliebige MIDI Busse oder Schnittstellen gesendet werden.

PuppetShow is a system that allows people use there bodies to control virtual characters. Puppet show uses a webcam to track the movements of a puppet and translates the gestures into bone movements in a game engine. Puppet Show’s goal is remove confusing middleware (keyboards and mice) from the player interface and allow the users to use their body’s natural expressiveness to convey themselves in virtual environments.
